Arizona State House District 11
Retired Colonel Hollace Lyon served for 26 years in the United States Air Force in the Communications and Computers career field. She commanded twice, served at NATO Headquarters in Belgium, and taught war planning at the Armed Forces Staff College to military leaders. In her last assignment, she was the education and training manager for 90,000 personnel, and served on the Air Force Board at the Pentagon, helping set service-wide budgetary and strategic goals.
After retirement, she worked for two corporations where one of her projects required her to spend five months evaluating solutions to strengthen border security.
She is a member of the American Legion Oro Valley Post 132, and the AZ NAACP, as well as the Chambers of Commerce in Arizona City, Casa Grande, Marana, Maricopa, and Oro Valley.
Hollace visited her Mom in southern Arizona often over the past 40+ years and has seen Arizona’s state government shift focus to profit over people, and ideology versus solutions.
She believes we are headed in the wrong direction and wants to listen to all constituents and work across the aisle to find the best solutions.
Hollace is known for her integrity and concern for others. She keeps her word and is someone you can count on.
